Greenhousekits1 has been a true labor of love.  Shawn and I relocated our family from North Carolina to pursue a dream of commercial farming over 16 years ago.  I was a high school English teacher, turned college professor when this endeavor started and Shawn had a successful home renovation business when we decided it was time to change everything and go back to our roots with our two beautiful children in pursuit of a farm family lifestyle.  Few can understand the true learning curve of farming or growing your own food like we do!  It didn't take long to realize that without greenhouses, our crops were not going to be as successful.  This is how Greenhousekits1 started; in our own back yard.  We have built this business from the ground up, literally starting it in our garage (that was an experience!), and growing it to where we are now.  We have now built and shipped more than 3,000 greenhouse kits and high tunnels across the nation, worked with the USDA NRCS program, and consulted with growers more than I can count.  Sometimes it takes a minute to find your true calling. We now know that helping people reach their farming goals while  offering our personal growing experience, is the path for us . We have been running Greenhousekits1 for over 12 years now as our sole business.

Our Mission at Greenhousekits1 is to help all farmers and growers, whether growing in a small backyard setting or a large multi-acre farm.  We pride ourselves on customer service and answer the phones ourselves.  We stay with our customers from the start of their project to the end, and are happy to say we often still hear from them many years later!
